Can I ask you something?
Do you ever feel... puffy?
Not necessarily overweight.
Can I Ask You Something? Do You Feel Inflamed?
Just... swollen.
Your rings don't fit.
Your face looks fuller than it used to.
Your stomach feels bloated.
Your joints ache.
You wake up stiff.
Your clothes fit differently depending on the day.
You feel like your body is hanging onto everything.
A lot of people call that "getting older."
I don't.
I think your body is trying to tell you something.
Here's something that surprises many of my clients...
Inflammation isn't always obvious.
Sometimes it looks like pain.
Sometimes it looks like fatigue.
Sometimes it looks like brain fog.
Sometimes it looks like headaches.
Sometimes it looks like stubborn weight that won't budge.
Sometimes it simply feels like you're not living in the same body you had a few years ago.
Now before you panic...
Inflammation isn't the enemy.
It's actually one of the ways your body protects and heals itself.
The problem is when that inflammatory response never really shuts off.
Think about everything your body deals with every single day.
Stress.
Poor sleep.
Processed foods.
Blood sugar swings.
Old injuries.
Environmental toxins.
Chronic infections.
Hormone changes.
Even emotional stress.
Eventually those little things can begin adding up.
That's why I rarely ask,
"What's wrong with you?"
I ask,
"What has your body been dealing with?"
Because those are two very different questions.
During your appointment, we're going to slow everything down.
We're going to talk about your symptoms.
Your stress.
Your sleep.
Your digestion.
Your nutrition.
Your movement.
Your health history.
We're going to start connecting the dots instead of looking at each symptom by itself.
Sometimes those changes alone make an incredible difference.
Other times, I may recommend additional evaluation through my trusted medical partner if I think another piece of the puzzle would be helpful.
My job isn't to convince you that holistic care fixes everything.
My job is to help you understand your body and give it the support it needs to do what it was designed to do.
I truly believe healing starts when we stop fighting our bodies...
...and start listening to them.
